Rumi House was established in 2015–2016 by Mr. Parviz Shahbazi Shiramin, a dedicated leader, scholar, and teacher who presents Rumi’s teachings at a high level while using simple, accessible language.
Rumi House serves as a gathering place for individuals to explore and celebrate the wisdom of Rumi, alongside other Persian literary treasures such as the Shahnameh and the works of Hafez. Its primary emphasis, however, is on Rumi’s vision of a loving and harmonious universe, expressed through music, dance, and spiritual reflection. This space is for those who seek a spiritually enriched life guided by Rumi’s principles, living with appreciation, compassion, and egoless love. Members of Rumi House embrace life with mindfulness, gratitude for the beauty around them, and a commitment to nurturing love for the universe, others, and themselves. Mr. Shahbazi’s dedication extends to the creation of the Ganj-e Hozour (Treasure of Presence) program, a series of audio and video sessions that delve deeply into Rumi’s poetry. These sessions, available on his official website, provide a valuable resource for those wishing to immerse themselves in the spiritual teachings of Rumi. Rumi House is more than a physical space; it is a living embodiment of the principles of love, presence, and spiritual awakening. It is a place where individuals can come together to explore, experience, and live Rumi’s teachings in a supportive and nurturing environment.
